In terms of nutritional values ​​of quinoa, it is a type of grain without gluten and contains a lot of minerals, proteins and fiber.
How do you cook quinoa?
You can cook quinoa as you cook pasta, in boiling water and after it softens. drain the excess water and you can make it the way you cook rice and cook it with 2 cups of water per cup of quinoa.

First Quinoa Cooking Option Materials:

  • 1 cup white quinoa
  • (Do not worry, only some of the salt will be absorbed in the quinoa and the rest will be washed out with the water)
  • 5 cups water

Preparation:

  • Place the quinoa in the strainer and wash under the faucet for about a minute.
  • Pour the water and salt in a medium pot, stir and bring to a boil on high heat (when the water is boiling).
  • Add the quinoa, lower to medium heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes (without lid).Using a spoon, remove a small amount and taste. If ready, transfer the quinoa to the sieve (do not rinse).

  • 1 cup white quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • Teaspoon olive oil / canola

Preparation:

  • Heat the quinoa in a pot with a teaspoon of oil for about half a minute while stirring.
  • Mix the water and season with salt, stir and bring to a boil on high heat. Then lower the heat, cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes. Lift the lid and separate the grains with a fork.
